The real problem is that you skip actual reasoning and go straight to assumptions about our motives, treat those assumptions as facts, and then build your whole argument on that made-up foundation while putting us down. That’s the exact behavior the Bible repeatedly condemns: boasting about your own faith while judging and despising others who are trying to follow Christ. It’s the same self-righteous pattern Jesus called out in the Pharisees. He has literally reduced the threat of pandemics. He freed the public square, so now we can openly expose and act against the atrocities committed by the traitors of the World against Her people, as well as act against those traitors. Soon he will unleash affordable humanoid robots that, along with autonomous vehicles and highly advanced AI, will enable anyone to eventually perform any and all work for themselves and others for relatively nothing. Then there’s the rapid hyper development of the space economy, which will create infinite jobs, only a tiny fraction of which he and his employees will see in their lifetime. They’re building systems that themselves will build systems and make a profit for you autonomously. Those systems will even let you compete against him. Where the fuck is the ego?

If a deal is struck to end the Iranian conflict because it is believed that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be protected from Iranian terrorism and Iran still possesses the capability to destroy major Gulf oil infrastructure, then Iran will be perceived as being a dominate force requiring a diplomatic solution. This combination of Iran being perceived as having the ability to terrorize the Strait in perpetuity and the ability the inflict massive damage to Gulf oil infrastructure is a major shift of the balance of power in the region and over time will be a nightmare for Israel. Also, it makes one wonder why the war started to begin with if these perceptions are accurate. I personally am a skeptic of the idea that Iran cannot be denied the ability to terrorize the Strait and the region cannot protect itself against Iranian military capability. It is important we get this right.

We all want peace, I don't want any war, they're all stupid. But you don't have to give away the farm either. That would be Iran winning, plain and simple. We get absolutely nothing and they get everything, including reparations in Billions. There are far better outcomes then this. C'mon TACO, don't do this.

If he does this, then the Iranians soundly defeated him! He gained nothing except the fact he has now pissed them off and made them an even far greater threat. What has happened to Trump?

I am deeply concerned about what we are hearing about an Iran “deal,” being pushed by some voices in the administration. President Trump’s decision to strike Iran was the most consequential decision of his second term. He was right to do so, and we achieved extraordinary military results—including destroying all of their missiles & drones and sinking their entire navy. If the result of all that is to be an Iranian regime—still run by Islamists who chant “death to America”—now receiving billions of dollars, being able to enrich uranium & develop nuclear weapons, and having effective control over the Strait of Hormuz, then that outcome would be a disastrous mistake. The details are still coming out—and I pray the early reports are wrong—but the fact that Biden’s Rob Malley is praising the deal is not encouraging. President Trump believes in peace through strength, and his strong leadership has already made America much safer. He should continue to hold the line, defend America & enforce the red lines he has repeatedly drawn.

For when I am weak, then am I strong: The ego often times, too many times beats me. I suffer at its hands many times, in many ways. Sometimes I feel like it always wins. It may sometimes win with the perfect house, the perfect wife, the perfect kids, the perfect job. The perfect life. But in giving me all those gifts it seems, I am never full, complete, truly loved. Sometimes it beats me by taking. It may take all those gifts it gave from me and I will feel miserable for it, defeated, humiliated, even guilty. Then it may switch back to additions, adding sickness, separation from others, ostracization by others. It may even use outright hostility toward me, beating me mercilessly physically. It will convince me I am the worst of the worst. It will tell me I am in hell, that there is no escape or pardons. I have two choices, and only two choices at this time. For this will occur in my life and every life until I make the final choice for God. I can “double down”, and try to replace the ego’s gifts with more gifts.If I have one house let me get two, if I have an abundance of money, let me acquire more. If I am at this social strata, let me ascend to those higher. So, men may look on me in admiration. Or, I can turn inward, I can recenter myself back on God. I can, every single time the Ego beats me, turn to God. This is always the choices. And when I turn inward, God is always there, for he never left me. He only knows being. In this Ego construction that it has used to enslave, to torment me, is its own defeat. For every time it beats me, I respond with eeking God, and I am drawn a little closer to God! The veil that seems to separate God from me is drawn back a little more, and I am closer to my true home. The Irony? The Ego, or Devil must drive me back to God to defeat me!
