If you had to guess the most affluent person on small-cap FinTwit, who would you pick? I’m definitely not looking at traders. Most “I made $100M shorting small caps” stories are peak-equity "screenshots" that conveniently skip the following drawdowns, blowups, taxes, and perpetual borrow fees etc. My guess: @timothysykes or @WarriorTrading Second guess: maybe some brokerage owners or borrow providers. I just don’t know if any of them actually post here.

I hope I am not going to get banned but there is at least one large broker that I know, that you can cut deal with to not charge you borrowing fees if you promote them well enough. They will also allow you to clear level 2 creating washouts when shorting but you must be large size. Broker I cannot mention is easy to find as is being widely promoted by some of current market wizards

So yesterday in the after hours session, there was unlimited locate inventory on $PCLA $LFS $AKTX....10 hours later on these same stocks there is an appearance of absolute crumbs for inventory and prices magically 10-20x'd....providers are releasing 10-20k at a time to see if people will pay and then adjusting accordlngly. My theory is that there was a recent probe/investigation into a few of these "providers" recently which caused them to shut down..They were the ones providing ultra cheap shares...now all we are left with is a few real providers who are taking advantage of the situation with their barbaric pricing. These brokers/providers will try to justify their pricing by claiming supply / demand. Of course these floats are tiny, we already know that - what bothers me is the significant change from 7pm to 4am when the stock prices are the same or lower I'd love to see what these guys are actually getting these things for at cost...one day

@Mini_Tradez The thing is there is almost always a wick on any given small cap runner if it spiked and pulled back. The challenging thing about your strategy is figuring out which time frame to use in various situations because in your examples you are using 1 min, 5 min, 1 hr, 1 week. 🤔🤔
