This kind of soap opera nonsense only happens in the NBA.
I don't really understand why, but you don't see this sort of dramatic disfunction play out in the media in any other sport quite like the NBA.

@treadmillhorse My interest in CBB is as low as it’s ever been. 85 percent of the roster changes on a yearly basis.
FB isn’t much better, but I’m naturally more into that sport. Still sucks seeing guys choose your alma mater for strictly financial reasons.

One of the things that used to make college sports great is that the fans and the players were representing the same school. And both sides were bought in. In the NIL era, I’m not sure that’s the case anymore. It’s just players wearing the name of a school on a jersey for a year. I feel like with enough time, fans start to lose interest.

I'd be surprised if Ayden Greene isn't a captain in 2026.
He's a rarity these days. He committed to Virginia Tech for the 2023 class and has spent his entire career with the #Hokies.
He's seen some success, and a lot of failure, but has hung tough through all of it.

The only indecency happening here is a "totally impaired" individual holding onto political power.
It's a simple proposition: if a politician self-reports that he is "totally impaired", he should resign immediately.
