Luke Vickery dan Mitchell Baker dikabarkan belum bisa tampil untuk FIFA Matchday Juni 2026 saat Timnas Indonesia menghadapi Oman dan Mozambik pada 5 & 9 Juni.
Meski begitu, keduanya kemungkinan akan hadir langsung untuk menyaksikan pertandingan tersebut.
Proses naturalisasi dua pemain itu saat ini tinggal menunggu dua tahapan akhir, yakni persetujuan DPR dan pengambilan sumpah kewarganegaraan.

"John Herdman Knows What We Have and What We Need" 🇮🇩
Unlike the previous coach (You Know Who), he emphasized that Indonesia already has a good defensive foundation, and we need to build from there.
Question : "How do you see our current squad?"
🗣️ Herdman : "Yeah, I think, you know when you assess it to AFC, I, I have a very clear mind on what gives you the chance to be successful and it's about your tier 1 and tier 2 players, your depth of your tier 1 and tier 2 players, I think we rank fourth or fifth in AFC with quality of our players pool bearing in mind a lot of those players are defensive, so that's gives us a strong defensive foundation. Which I think any coach YOU HAVE TO WORK ON WHAT YOU HAVE RATHER THAN WHAT YOU THINK. You have to work with if this is the core and the strength of our team, we'll build around that. I think it's clear, there's no excuses for our talents anymore. I think with our DIASPORA players that we've been recruited, yes it takes time for them to gel and I think the past World Cup cycle, they didn't have the time to build that true connection it takes to get through the difficult moment in away matches. But, we will have time and build that connection together. SO, THE TALENT IS THERE, THE OPPORTUNITY IS NOW."

We don't really have RB except Sandy Walsh. Since 2023, Indonesia only included Asnawi, Nico, and Achmad Maulana as natural RB players. Asnawi and Achmad currently injured, so we need a new name. And the name should be Tristan Goojier.
Known as a right fullback, pretty versatile with records played as CB and LB but mainly played as RB on PEC Zwolle. Yesterday he scored a goal in the PEC Zwolle match against Telstar with a 4-1 victory. He's pretty active producing threats to the opponent box, including passes, dribbles and shots. He is a profile that Indonesian needs right now.
