The RRidgeback was given to us when the mastiff, bloodhound, greyhound and terrierdogs bred with the native dogs of Africa

@LaurieBuhr @ridgebackfacts similar! Sass had v long legs so goes up to neck in the lake but avoids puddles & also soggy leaves! #teamRR 🐶

Naturally a RR barks not much or unnecessary. So once he does then you should take it seriously and check if something is not in order

A RR would like to stand and walk next to you as your partner. Not behind you as a servant or submissive. Then he 'll be your best friend

Cause of his intelligence, RR has a few sec. delay in hearing a command & follow-up. He thinks: whats in it for me & whether it makes sense.
