In today's fractured world, dharma isn't blind rule-following—it's the courage to choose the greater truth over rigid norms. Bhishma stuck to every vow & "correct" protocol → watched Hastinapur burn in adharma. Krishna bent rules, used deception, broke his own word → re-established justice & balance. Geopolitics mirror this: Clinging to outdated "rules-based orders" or one-sided alliances while chaos spreads? Pure Bhishma trap—enables aggressors through inaction. True statesmanship? Krishna's pragmatic wisdom: Multi-alignment, strategic autonomy, decisive action when needed to protect balance, sovereignty & the vulnerable. India gets it—engaging Russia, US, others without camps; prioritizing real stability over performative morality. In multipolar 2026, dharma demands viveka: When rules sustain life, follow them. When they enable destruction, transcend them. The epic's lesson for leaders: Rigid duty destroys kingdoms. Courageous discernment saves civilizations.

The daughter of a company owner fell in love with a Mu$lim boy... She was madly in love and defied her parents' wishes. Feeling helpless, her parents sought the advice of a friend. The friend's family and their family subsequently went on a picnic together. During the picnic, the friend made it clear that she was on the girl's side. She stated that all religions are equal and that the parents should allow the marriage to take place. Consequently, the girl began to view this friend as her pillar of support. Meanwhile, the boy's calls continued to come in intermittently. The friend took the girl aside, handed her a book translated into Marathi, and said, "You are about to marry a Mu$lim boy, so you ought to be familiar with his culture." The name of the book: *Not Without My Daughter* (Marathi Translation) The girl began reading the book at 11:30 PM, and within just a few minutes, she was knocking on her friend's bedroom door. Her eyes were filled with tears. She said, "This is terrifying; I will not marry him." The friend, however, did not alter her stance. She reasoned with her, "Even if the religion is such, is your love true? If so, let's do this: ask him to embrace the Hindu faith, and we will arrange your marriage. I will convince your father." The girl liked this idea and immediately called the boy to convey all of this to him. To this, the boy retorted, "What makes you think I would change my religion for the sake of a 'two-percent prostitute' like you?" His words seared into the girl's ears as if molten lead had been poured into them. She realized—with crushing clarity—her true worth in the eyes of the very boy she loved more than life itself, and for whom she had defied her own parents. She then flatly refused to go ahead with the marriage. List of Key Books: The Kingdom Behind the Burqa – Carmen Bin Ladin From Tehran Prison – Marina Nemat Infidel and Nomad – Ayaan Hirsi Ali Blasphemy – Tehmina Durrani Not Without My Daughter – Betty Mahmoody Lajja – Taslima Nasrin The Last Girl – Nadia Murad These books are absolute must-reads. Secular individuals, in particular, should be encouraged to read these books so that they may come to know the reality. All of these are autobiographies and true stories.

Mexico—a nation with 1/17th GDP of USA—is rolling out universal healthcare to its 130 million citizens. Starting April 13, Mexicans 85+ will have access to universal healthcare. By January 2027, Mexico will expand universal healthcare to all people, with full coverage of drugs, lab tests, etc by 2030. Reject the MAGA and Corporate Democrat lie that "we cannot afford universal healthcare." Truth is we cannot afford to continue exploiting health for profit. We demand healthcare as a human right.

Law enforcement cooperation between the United States and Australia is a cornerstone our relationship. For example, thanks to a referral from the U.S. FBI to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) about an Australian-based person sending and receiving sexually explicit online content involving a child, @AusFedPolice initiated an investigation that resulted in an arrest and conviction. This referral demonstrates the depth of our law enforcement cooperation. 🇺🇸🇦🇺 afp.gov.au/news-centre/me…

I did not know that childcare was subsidised by the government at up to $140/day. Here's another idea I've been suggesting for decades: pay the grandparents instead. At $1,400 a week (no seriously) for two kids five days a week, what grandparent wouldn't want to?? They don't need police checks; they've raised kids; they can pass on language, culture and family history. Or does that all make far too much common sense? abc.net.au/news/2026-04-1…

Fear of not complying with DEI drives corporate HR, CXOs and senior leaders/managers. So a team will have the mandatory combination to tick a box. LinkedIn profiles will have pronouns. Those without pronouns will be made to feel ashamed. Then FOMO will creep in or fear of being labeled a bigot. The word ‘Islamophobia’ has been weaponised successfully. Even if you point out an obvious wrong act, without any connection to one’s religious identity there is that creeping fear which has been engineered over the years. And most Hindus are with a ‘live & let live’ attitude, perhaps tolerating a lot more than they should. Our education system has also produced a deracinated generation that does not ‘connect’ with Hindu faith. So insults and taunts are not countered. There is no red line that cannot be crossed. A combination of such factors contributing to incidents like the one in Nashik.

India providing medical supplies to Iranians suffering from the war gets far less attention than it deserves. The only other major supplier of medical relief has been Russia. European countries, Southeast and East Asian states including China, and OIC members including the so-called “mediator” in the peace talks, are notably absent. Just two out of the eleven BRICS members and zero of the G-7 countries are involved in humanitarian work in a time of crisis. This news will go largely unreported. Non-Western lives matter little unless they can be used as fodder for performative and narrow political agendas, as was the case with Gaza. Humanitarian assistance from certain countries is downplayed because acknowledgment would reveal the lack humanity that characterizes the behavior of most global actors.

#LoyYang We’re not running out of energy. We’re deliberately shutting it down. Loy Yang A delivers 2,210MW 24/7 and powers ~30% of Victoria. It sits on hundreds of years of accessible coal and it was recently refurbished. Yet inexplicably we’re closing it early. So what are we replacing it with? • ~15,000 hectares of solar • ~130,000 hectares of wind • 1,000+ turbines • Massive transmission buildout • Backup storage that still can’t guarantee supply And that is all to replicate what 6,000 hectares already does and reliably. We’re still dismantling dispatchable power and it needs to stop. We need to keep reliable generation online while we build more of what actually works. This isn’t an appropriate engineering solution, it’s more climate ideology and it’s Aussie households that will continue pay the piper for it.

This is the huge wall Egypt built on the border with Gaza. One of the most well-fortified walls, with seven layers of razor wire, walls, and fences, ensures that not a single Palestinian from Gaza enters Egypt. I wonder why Egypt doesn't want them?

The alleged incident of the blackmailing of Hindu women, sexual assault and/or attempted forcible conversion in an MNC reminds me of what was happening in Delhi’s one of the renowned hospitals in 2021 where my wife was admitted in the ICU with Covid. When I flew from London and visited her in the ICU, she informed me with lot of difficulty how some missionaries were allowed free access to the ICU patients to lure them into their religion. They would play audio whole night praising their Isht devta. The staff there overheard our conversation that I would complain against the hospital if they continue. This stopped them visit there afterwards at least till she was there. The entire duty staff was also changed immediately maybe due to fear of getting identified in case of a police complaint. Fact is conversion in India adopting multiple tactics is real and deep rooted. Just one slip will make you fall in the lap of conversion mafia and you can’t do anything against them.

Mike Carney needs to get the basics right: start with the Canadian dollar, because without monetary sovereignty being fully understood and fully utilised, all this rhetoric is just empty noise. Until nations recognise that their own currency is a public monopoly and use it to mobilise idle resources at home, nothing structurally changes! And let’s be clear, imports are not a burden; they are real gains. They bring in goods, technology, and capacity that expand domestic productivity and put unused labour and resources to work. That’s the real economy. But don’t confuse that with surrendering monetary autonomy. Relying on the USD system the way most countries do today is not an economic necessity; it’s a political constraint. True sovereignty means leveraging your own currency while engaging globally on your own terms, not being trapped in someone else’s monetary architecture.

Canada’s Prime Minister just announced the end of the era of sending 70% of defense spending to the United States. The crowd gave him a standing ovation. America’s closest ally — shared border, shared culture, decades of integrated defense — just drew a line in front of a cheering crowd.

Iran has granted special transit approval through strait of Hormus for only five nations - India, China, Russia, Iraq, and Pakistan. If these countries continues to trade with Iran, send and receive ships, would Trump attack them as he said any ship allowed by Iran would be attacked? If America attacks vessels of Russia, China and India - what would be the consequences? Trump is dragging the world to a quagmire.

🚨 After police intervention and public outrage, TCS claims “zero tolerance” on sexual harassment and coercion, and says the accused employees are now suspended pending inquiry. But the real question: What was TCS doing when multiple employees raised these concerns months ago? Why was action delayed until the issue exploded publicly? Is “zero tolerance” only activated after police action and media pressure? #Nashik #ITEmployees #TCS

Most of the disparaging comments under Paul's post are low-follower bots. The myth that currency-issuing governments must tax and borrow to spend is crucial to private capital. Bust that myth and neoliberalism would evaporate to clear the way for a functional mixed economy. #MMT

Welfare is not funded by taxes. Whatever one thinks of benefits for multiple children, not one taxpayer is financially disadvantaged by the lifting of the two-child benefit cap. Object to it if you must. But don’t use “but taxpayers?” as a reason. mmtuk.org/education/how-…
