@The_ME_Ellison I had the one with the cat too! It was more of a wild cat though, but still, small and supposedly cute. I think that in my case it’s hypochondria, because in the nightmares I’m always afraid that I’ll catch something from small animals.

@RidigerDaria You are the first person I’ve heard of who shares this nightmare with me! It’s been especially weird when it’s been cats, because I like cats. But all of the other small animals—particularly rodents—I do not like.

Do you have any common themes in your dreams/nightmares? I often dream an intruder is trying to enter the house. Or sometimes it's small wild animals--monkeys, cats, rats, etc. trying to get in. Last night it was rats and then the rats started biting me. Any dream analysis folks?

@OwenMJames Come on, you should really relax about it. Names in books are not a subject of a copyright, and similar names are not a problem if they mean completely different things. Similar names are just inevitable.

So... does anyone want to read a short story I just finished? It’s not quite 5k and my first stab at sci-fi so idk if it’s any good but I’m kinda pleased with it 🤷🏼‍♀️
