most AI companies have already used whatever public data was available on the internet but the next thing AI needs is high value private data like hospital records, financial data, company logs, and sensitive info... that is not open for the public But what if AI could use private data without exposing the data? Yes, it is possible through Confidential Data Rails (CDR). The model changes from share and hope to define and verify you don't need to hand over your data to someone and then expect that everything will be handled correctly. you can set rules upfront onchain that define when the data can be decrypted only when those exact conditions are met, and the data stays encrypted the whole time CDR helps AI by running computations in TEEs (secure enclaves) so raw data never leaves. It uses remote attestation (cryptographic proof) to verify that only approved code touches the data, and only the allowed outputs come back it also gives protection to contributors by using @StoryProtocol to keep their ownership and send automatic revenue back to them every time the data is used. Now it is live on testnet.
