Lmao bro come on, stop trying to save your own ass you're coping hard right now if you had done actual research on his lineage before you would have realised it did came from Gueznaïa originally not from Abu Dulayn Ibn Khattab and you probably wouldn't have posted it And he's only part of this family (which is doubtful in itself) by his nisba not his nassab that makes him autochthonous to the Rif i don't see what's hard to understand just take the L What you were trying to do is make it seem as if his lineage came originally from Western-Algeria

@Riffian_Defense Huh, what are you saying, I said Abdelkrim is part of the family of Abou Doleim Ibn Khattab which is true, I didn’t lie, I never said he descended from this particular character, I said he belonged to them which is true, your source supports his naturalization through nisba.

Si 'Abd al-Krim, the ancestor and great-grandfather of Muhammad Mmi-s n 'Abd al-Krim originally comes from the Igzenayen (Gueznaïa) holy fraction of the Asht 'Aru 'Aisa and migrated into the Aïth Waryaghar fraction of the Aïth Khattab 100 years prior to his birth in Ajdir, the capital of the Aïth Yusuf Ou 'Ari which negates your attempt at trying to claim Muhammad Mmi-s n 'Abd al-Krim al-Khattabi, which debunks the Azdaja-Khattab claim already as he isn't originally from this fraction David M. Hart explains how the nisba “al-Khattabi” came to be associated with the family of Muhammad Mmi-s n 'Abd al-Krim, the migration would have taken place roughly a century before the birth of ʿAbd al-Krim’s great-grandson, which gave the lineage of Muhammad Mmi-s n 'Abd al-Krim sufficient time to establish itself and integrate within the Aïth Waryaghar society. During that period the family would have undergone a process of naturalization, adapting to its new tribal and social environment and acquiring what Hart calls droit de cité (the right of local citizenship or belonging) The nisba “al-Khattabi” does not indicate an inherited genealogical link to an earlier bearer of that name. Instead, it likely reflects the family’s local affiliation within Waryagharland. By settling among the Aïth Khattab and becoming recognized members of that community, the descendants of Si ʿAbd al-Krim adopted and had been granted the nisba “al-Khattabi” as a marker of their new civic and tribal identity. Thus, rather than being a literal sign of descent, “al-Khattabi” represents the family’s integration and legitimization within the Aïth Khattab. 100 years between the migration of his great grandfather and the birth of Mulay Muhand is also consistent with the historical timeframe of the integration into the Aïth Yusuf Ou 'Ari This has also been confirmed by both informants from the Aïth Yusuf Ou 'Ari and the Asht 'Aru 'Aisa and the nephew and by the son (Umar Mmi-s n 'Abdesram al-Khattabi) of the uncle of Mulay Muhand (Si 'Abdesram al-Khattabi) who is the grandson of the first Si 'Abd al-Krim just like his brother

It actually changes everything since his lineage and family records show he's an autochthonous Riffian from Gueznaïa, not a descendant of the Azdāja al-Khattab from Algeria. The supposed 10th-century migration doesn't apply to his own nassab since his family merely adopted the al-Khattab nisba

@Riffian_Defense This dosen't change what i said, wherever his grandfather was integrated or not into the Aith Yusuf Ari, it is still his tribe, Gzenaya by origin or not, he's still part of the Khattab family as his peers we're intergrated, so nothing was invalidated.

@JeCoupeLaMain That as well but the Riffian historian Ahmed Tahiri tries to make a link between the Zenāta Azdāja and the Aïth Yusuf Ou 'Ari claiming that they integrated into the Aïth Waryagher tribe centuries ago

A member of the Cortes who had just returned from active service in the Rif neatly summed up the Spanish position in 1921 when he said that Spain was open to attack from anybody ''If we continue like this, we shall soon have no more Morocco, no more Army, and no more Spain" During that time Anual represented the greatest victory for all tribally organized societies in the Middle-East and North-Africa
