@otforus As a Thirty plus Year Retiree of Southern Bell, South Central Bell and AT&T. I would like to say happy Telecommunications Week from someone who understands the importance of being at your position with your headphones on when your phone calls come through ♥️🙏🏾♥️
🎉 It’s Telecommunications Week, and I’m excited to give a shoutout to our incredible 311 and 911 teams! 🙌
Thank you to our dedicated dispatchers for your commitment to keeping our community safe day in and day out. Your hard work makes a difference! 💪 Let’s continue striving for a lightning-fast 10-second response time— because every second counts in an emergency! 🚀✨
During the weekend and today, I received a significant number of emails regarding the Alabo Street Grain Terminal project. I want to take this opportunity to reaffirm my support for our community’s request for a public hearing on the proposed development. It is critical that our voices are considered, and our concerns are addressed prior to the approval of any permits. In light of this, I recently sponsored a Resolution in Support and sent a letter to the @louisiana_deq advocating for a public hearing on the matter before any permits are issued.
As a Councilmember, I do not have the authority to stop this project alone. Nevertheless, I am joining the many calls for our community to be heard. I deeply appreciate my colleagues who have stood in support of this request for transparency and engagement.
If the responsible leaders and entities are not willing to partner with the community to hold an official public meeting, then I will work directly with residents of the Lower Ninth Ward to host one ourselves. We will invite the media, my elected colleagues, and community advocates to ensure that our concerns are documented, uplifted, and not ignored.
I've included an image of the letter I sent to LDEQ.
@Riley_Gaines_ Joe Biden’s insane lurch to embrace gender ideology is probably what’s going to cost him the election.
Women can tolerate a lot but men in their bathrooms is a step too far for most.
@EBraeden I can’t believe how so many people believe everything he says. How intelligent people listen to the news and don’t believe even when they are double checked to verify what is reported.A blind person can see what is happening in this country. Vote Blue !!
@CatocatAnthony@Cancelcloco@donlemon If these people don’t like Don or agree with what he has to say why don’t they stay off his platform. I don’t know Candice Owens, I don’t watch her. We have to much going on in this country to use so much time hating each other. We should pray and keep our eyes on the prize.
@Cancelcloco@donlemon Seems like Musk and Conservatives like you have been boosting his presence. He seems to be doing well for himself now because of people like you.
@wdsu Margaret we have learned so much from you. You will be missed and we will think of you every time we are watching the weather; no matter the conditions. Enjoy your grandchildren and God bless.

@KingMaker4570@donlemon The black vote is not for sale for fried chicken or stupid looking sneakers 👟. We do read no matter how many books 📚 they banned. We will be voting 🗳️
