@ZachRRichardson @CallMeMeech_ I would wait to see the abilities. But I would lean towards taking him. He’s going to be more expensive than the previous GT’s

@CallMeMeech_ I am so torn. I have that BND solo seasons pack. I have also really liked using Dillon Gabriel. If Caleb pops up in the BND pack should I take him or someone else? He could also not be good because we don't know who made it.

Ben Johnson: Justin Fields believer!
The truth!
Ben Johnson was present at Justin Fields pro day, but not Caleb Williams.
The truth!
Ben Johnson wanted to be Chicago Bears head coach LAST YEAR with Fields on the roster.
The truth!
Poles feared Johnson would keep Fields or draft Drake Maye, as he himself was a former UNC QB. Thus, he kept Eberflus over hiring Johnson
The truth!
Ben Johnson wanted Fields, but he still knew how to maximize Goff. He is capable of getting the most out of QBs.
The truth!
Ben Johnson would’ve made Justin Fields reach his potential and he certainly would have been an elite QB with this team, offensive line, and coaching.
Ben Johnson scouted Justin Fields heavily. He even attended his pro day and pushed the Lions to draft him.
Despite Johnson being a TE coach at the time, he knew that his talent was evaluating and building around QBs.
This is a guy who could get the best version out of any QB he coaches.
So why was he at Justin Fields pro day but not Caleb Williams?!
He knew that a 6’3 4.4 speed QB with elite toughness and deep ball playmaking could be unstoppable with his offense
Ryan Poles laughed at QBs like Justin Fields and Drake Maye because there was nobody with enough football knowledge to challenge him.
You don’t laugh at 6’3-6’4 prototypical athletic dual threat QBs that can play from the pocket. You get a coach that can develop them!
Ben Johnson would have cooked Ryan Poles in scouting QBs and as a former UNC QB himself, he probably would have had more insight on drafting Drake Maye.
Poles opted for another scrambling QB but this time, a 5’11 QB that struggles passing down the field. But If there is any coach that can help Williams reach his potential, it seems Ben Johnson can do it.
Rebuilding the Chicago Bears was still the number one reason Johnson took the job despite the GM Ryan Poles strong arming the QB position.
I believe Ben could’ve coached Nix, Daniels, or even Maye. Based on the red flags of Williams, I do not think he would have drafted him.
Bears are winning because of the focus on the trenches and overall talent of the team.
But as a Bears fan that has witnessed the 2006 Bears make the Super Bowl, everything comes down to the QB
Hopefully the decisions of Ryan Poles don’t hurt the Bears in the end..

I spoke with Joe Thuney, who said he’s enjoying this first season in Chicago: “Soldier Field was rocking last week. I have nothing but great things to say about the people, the city, the Bears organization, just top class in everything. I feel fortunate I can still play football with a great group of guys. Just trying to enjoy it.”

#Jets HC Aaron Glenn didn’t want to discuss injuries today after ESPN’s @RichCimini reported yesterday that Garrett Wilson would miss at least 3–4 weeks with a knee injury.
“Rich has all the answers. You can get it from him.”
