C’est ce que révèle le Global Family Office Report 2025, une plongée signée UBS dans les coulisses de 317 de ces puissantes machines à gérer des milliards. Si ces structures gèrent des fortunes bien supérieures à celles d’un investisseur particulier, leurs principes d’allocation, de diversification et de gouvernance sont étonnamment transposables. Ce rapport, loin d’être réservé à une élite, contient des enseignements essentiels pour quiconque cherche à investir avec discernement et sérénité. Diversifier : géographiquement, sectoriellement, et en style d’investissement Les allocations des family offices montrent une forte diversification : entre actions cotées et non cotées, obligations, immobilier, or, et même hedge funds. En moyenne, l'allocation du patrimoine (cf : graphique circulaire ci-dessous) se réparti entre 30% d'actions (dont 26% sur les marchés développés et 4% sur les marchés émergents), 21% de private equity (11% d'investissements directs et 10% via des fonds/fonds de fonds), 18% d'obligations (dont 15% sur les marchés développés et 3% sur les marchés émergents), 11% d'immobilier, 8% de liquidités, 4% de dette privée, 4% de hedge funds, 2% sur l'or et les métaux précieux, 1% d'infrastructures, 1% d'arts et d'antiquités et un peu moins de 1% de matières premières.
