റഫീഖ് ഹുസൈൻ ഭട്ടുക് ഗോധ്ര കൂട്ടക്കൊല നടന്നിട്ട് ഇപ്പോൾ 23 വർഷങ്ങൾ തികഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതാണ് ആ കേസിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതി മുസ്ലിം ഭീകരൻ ഇവന് രണ്ട് പെട്രോൾ പമ്പുകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു, സബർമതി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് കത്തിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ച പെട്രോൾ എത്തിച്ചു നൽകിയത് ഇവനായിരുന്നു. അറസ്റ്റ് ഒഴിവാക്കാനായി 19 വർഷക്കാലമാണ് ഇവൻ ഒളിവിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. പക്ഷെ ഇവന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളും കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളും ഗുജറാത്ത് ഇന്റലിജൻസിന്റെ കർശന നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലായിരുന്നു. ഒരു ദിവസം താൻ ഒരു മുത്തശ്ശനായി എന്ന വിവരമറിഞ്ഞ് ഇവൻ സ്വന്തം മകനെ ഫോണിൽ വിളിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഈ ഫോൺ കോൾ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് ഇവൻ ഡൽഹിയിലുണ്ടെന്ന് പോലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. തന്റെ കൊച്ചുമകനെ കാണാനായി ഫെബ്രുവരി 14-ന് താൻ രഹസ്യമായി ഗോധ്രയിൽ എത്തുമെന്ന് ഇയാൾ മകനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. ഗോധ്ര റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ എത്തിയ ഇയാളെ, അവിടെ സിവിൽ ഡ്രസ്സിൽ കാത്തുനിന്ന പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ വളഞ്ഞ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം കോടതിയിൽ ഇയാളുടെ കുറ്റങ്ങളെല്ലാം തെളിയുകയും, ഇയാൾക്ക് ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവുശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഗോധ്രയിലെ സബർമതി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സിലെ തീപിടുത്തം ആരും ചെയ്തതല്ലെന്നും അത് സ്വയം ഉണ്ടായതാണെന്നും ലാലു യാദവ് പണ്ട് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നത് ഓർക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ? പോലീസിനോട് എല്ലാം സമ്മതിച്ച ഇയാൾ, ഒളിവിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന ആ 19 വർഷവും പഴയ ഡൽഹിയിലെ ലജ്പത് റായ് മാർക്കറ്റിലാണ് ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നതെന്ന് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി. ഈ മതഭീകരവാദികളുടെ ശൃംഖല എത്രത്തോളം വലുതാണെന്ന് ഒന്ന് ആലോചിച്ചു നോക്കൂ. എന്നിട്ടും ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകൻ ഈ വാർത്ത റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തതായി നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടോ? അതാണ് ഇവരുടെ നെറ്റ്‌വർക്ക്!!!
