@9mmsmg The trend got stupid just like pulled pork. The whole point is that was a super cheap way of having something that was normally relatively expensive, then more people started buying them and now they are just as if not more expensive than regular.

Just finished Ghost of Yotei, quick review: Another brilliant "Ghost Of" game, with improved environmental graphics/effects and vegetation density. Tsushima still the better overall game though, just. Here's some pics.

@TeamYouTube Over the last 6 months or so they have at least doubled in size, to the point there is only 4 videos on a row on a 32" 1440p monitor and only 3 rows, you cant even see the titles of the videos on the 3rd row. Awful design made to artificially increase your scroll amount analytics

Using a chrome extension to revert @YouTube 's awful design decision to make every "thumbnail" the size of your fist is ridiculous, have they forgot why they were called thumbnails to begin with? At least give the user the choice to see more than 12 before having to scroll...

@YouTube The thumbnail sizes for videos are beyond a joke now. maximum of 12 videos on my screen at once now when it used to be 32+. Why keep making user-experience worse just to pad your metrics for how much people scroll????

And it all seems to have started because a few "researchers" with 10's or 100's of thousands of followers all decided to cite the same 1 or 2 sources as scientific fact instead of looking into it themselves just so that they could be one of the first to bring it to the masses.

Got to say its pretty eye opening seeing just how quick and willing people are to accept what can only be best described as "fanciful interpretation and speculation" as scientific fact. Khafre pyramid scans gonna be the new big conspiracy theory for a while it seems.
