@ritostime THIS is how I feel about the whole thing. If you just want raids culture there are other, better options for it! XIV has such a strong story, let its strength there shine! People can do what they want with their money but they're only doing themselves a disservice

Why skip NSW for endgame, FFXIV endgame is not that good bro, it's really not that good. The journey is unironically better then the destination.

WH $1 billion - where are Senate Rs on this? -Yes. Several are on board, in theory. Those are non-appropriators: Hawley is a good example. -Finger in wind. Most seem to want to get on board, but want more details: Britt, Rick Scott (notable anti-deficit senator) as examples here. -Not there yet. There are some - including Sens. Young and Collins who seem more deeply skeptical, want far more details. Reminder: if all attend, Rs can afford just 3 no votes on this in the Senate to pass w/out Dem help.

New. Sen. Britt to me re: the $1 billion and if this should go in the reconciliation bill: “I think we'll take a look at what that means and what those numbers look like, and I think they'll be a just continued discussion.” Sen Banks also told me he is thinking about the amounts ans if this should go along with ICE and CBP $. He mentioned the concern that the Byrd Rule could be an issue.
