Another motion on the Occupied Territories Bill passed unanimously in Donegal Council this morning. That is 13 councils that have now passed it. Huge thanks to Cllr Jimmy Brogan for proposing the motion and to Cllr Declan Meehan for seconding it . Also a huge thank you to all of the Donegal County Councillors who supported it. It was great to be in chamber with my colleague Eileen Flynn to support the call for a public inquiry for the families of the horrendous Creeslougy tragedy. It was great to see both motions passed unanimously by the council 🇮🇪🇯🇴 A final thank you to all the wonderful activists in Donegal who have shown huge solidarity to the Palestinian people, who have held vigils and protests in the freezing weather, you are all amazing.🌻🇵🇸✊ @donegalcouncil

While in Malawi, I saw two farmers exchanging pumpkin seeds. This sparked my curiosity about its seed laws. Just like Kenya, Malawi has enforced its Seed Act of 2022 which prioritises certified seeds and does not recognize farmer managed seed systems #seedsovereignty
