@LoochyTV Warzone didn’t die. Players who lack the skills to adapt to new mechanics left and played The Sims. Accept it.

Warzone died when it moved on from the MW 2019 era and I’ll always die on that hill. Since then it’s been 5 years of the game having an identity crisis as they force each new multiplayer into the Warzone cycle. Instead of letting the game flourish and be its own thing, and slowly tweaking it over time…they radically flipped it upside down over and over again. Warzone itself could have been one of the greats that was still thriving 10+ years later. Instead it’s just slowly becoming irrelevant. Just sad to see honestly.

Since the mode launched in Season 02, Warzone Ranked matches are only getting cleaner: Our new Microsoft Azure Attestation requirement has helped drop match infection rates 10%. We’ve also been expanding and refining our detections for teaming behavior in Ranked Resurgence. Our teams use detection methods designed specifically to identify patterns that indicate players repeatedly coordinating eliminations across matches. These systems analyze a range of factors. As players meet certain thresholds, they may receive an in-game notification indicating suspicious activity has been detected. This message does not automatically mean an account will be banned. It flags accounts for further investigation so we can review behavior more closely. So far, roughly 1,000 accounts have received Ranked Play bans for repeated teaming behavior. We regularly review the highest tiers of Ranked Play and conduct targeted sweeps to ensure players competing at the top are doing so fairly.
