What a wonderful way to describe the language of mathematics!
Out Teach@OutTeachEd
@teacher2teacher Math is a learned language. Math is how Science speaks. Just like you learned how to speak in your primary language by doing a little more every day, you can learn Math by taking on a little more each day. Ideally in a meaningful real-world way.

Q4: What are some ways we can apply an equity lens to student well-being? #connectedandengaged

@MrsAlliGray This is so true! Those interactions are often what kids reflect on at the end of the day. They have the power to set a child's day in a good or a frustrated direction. #connectedandengaged

A2: Checking in by being visible especially in the lunch room, arrival and dismissal. Asking how their day is going.High and low feedback each day. #connectedandengaged

@teachnext_tmb @MrsAlliGray I love the idea of being real with kids. It helps to show we are complex, thinking, feeling people. Not just one-dimensional "teachers."

@C_E360 A3: We can assess students’ emotional well-being using evidence-based strategies. Annenberg’s EdResearch for Recovery Project has a good resource to help do that:
