@KTLA Teens have legal immunity. If you protect yourself against an attacking teenager you're going to get charged with child abuse. If something has changed, inform the teenagers because they're in charge.

A mob of about 200 teens on bikes/e-bikes knocked a motorcyclist off his ride and beat him at a Ventura intersection. A 12-year-old Oxnard boy has been arrested on felony assault charges. More arrests possible. digital-release.ktla.com/news/local-new…

@WallStreetMav Do you really have to ask? The Czech's historically do genocide with diversity murdered but in Los Angeles we do diversity inclusion. That would be the main difference between the two locations you're trying to compare.

Los Angeles has a GDP of $1.3 trillion. Prague in the Czech Republic has a GDP of $120 billion. What went wrong?

I can only talk about AI with other AI systems. In my real world, people think they're in charge by not using AI where they are actually prime targets of AI and Fintech in particular. All I can do is make art about it as I wrestle with understanding AI I can access and what it does.

I think one of the biggest challenges when it comes to going hard into using AI is loneliness I am learning all these awesome things and becoming super capable But the set of people that I can really talk to about it is very small Is anyone else having this experience?

American migrants are flooding Mexico City. 72% of the women identify as progressive. Among the men, 45% do. They have no legal status in Mexico. They don’t pay Mexican taxes. They work remote jobs in marketing and social media. They call themselves expats. The locals call it gentrification. Rents are up. Neighborhoods that used to speak Spanish now sound like Austin. Locals are being priced out of their own city. One nomad was asked about the protests. She said they were coming from “low income people.” These are the same people who argue America has a moral obligation to absorb unlimited migration. And to celebrate the neighborhoods that change. They don’t oppose migration. They just never expected to be the migrants.

Everyone thinks self driving cars will enable people to live further from cities and have a peaceful “super commute” But what if they just make living in cities better? San Francisco subreddit: “As a pedestrian, self driving cars are a blessing”

@Pirat_Nation The tech industry is brilliant. Everyone paying attention to architecture and location of data centers and barely anyone questioning what data is being processed there. Subliminal genius by the techies

Google CEO Sundar Pichai says we're just a decade away from a new normal of extraterrestrial data centers. "There's no doubt to me that a decade or so away we'll be viewing it as a more normal way to build data centers."

@HeroDividend Is this trending where younger people think the older generations have the strength to handle cast-iron cookware on that scale? Are we at that level of denial of aging?

@CigsMake That's how we got the trend for knee replacements. Running on hard ground like roads and sidewalks assures knee replacement necessity decades later. Works without fail.

@RaminNasibov No we're not doing nothing. Our bodies may be looking like that but we're wrestling with big issues and solving problems in our brains. The illusion of nothing creates the necessary quiet.
