being optimistic abt the future has worked out well for me so i'm going to continue to believe that we're headed towards an era of overwhelming abundance
it's much easier to articulate why something won't work than why it will. the skeptic always sounds smarter than the believer
but take a look at whats actually being developed. we have industrialized inteligence. production of value is becoming increasingly automated. all while leverage and mobility remain overflowing at historically unprecedented levels
yes, there are risks. things could go wrong. some bets will fail. entire sectors will disappear
but the overall trend line is clear
technology is making scarcity artificial. and you, as an individual, have an unusual degree of agency over what your life becomes, more than most people in the entirety of our collective history
by almost any objective measure, this is quite literally the best time to be alive
