1/ The 2008 Border-Gavaskar Test in Sydney didn't just have bad decisions; it had an entire 5-day collection of them, mostly courtesy of Steve Bucknor.
2/ First Innings: Aus is struggling at 134/6. Andrew Symonds nicks Ishant Sharma straight to Dhoni. Bucknor says Not Out. Symonds later admitted: "I knew I was out."
3/ A few overs later, Symonds is stumped by miles. Bucknor refuses to even check with the 3rd umpire. Not Out again. Symonds goes on to make 162*.
4/ Day 5: Rahul Dravid is given caught-behind when the ball literally hit his pad with a mile of daylight next to the bat. Ganguly is given out on a grassed catch.
5/ The fury was so intense that India threatened to cancel the tour and fly home. The ICC had to step in and forcefully sack Bucknor from the next Test. Peak chaos. 💀
