Paul Goldschmidt has made some slight tweaks to his mechanics that have made a big difference. The increases in pull AIR%, walks, and barrels have turned him into a legitimately elite hitter again

According to Statcast, Goldy is standing ~5 inches closer to the pitcher in the batter’s box. This lines up with the drastic increase in pull AIR%, which usually leads to a power surge. Good for Unc! (Left 2025 right 2026)
