I took some time this weekend to look at the government numeracy tests that elementary teachers are required to administer to our youngest children. Many of the questions are timed and address material not yet taught, at a time when teachers should be building relationships. 1/6

We are hearing reports of ppl trying to falsify proof of #COVID19AB vaccination records. We are at a critical time & need ABs to do all they can to help reduce strain on the health system. We need ppl to abide by current restrictions & not look for ways around the rules. (1/4)

Visits to the grocery store to should be kept once per week & try to have only one person/household do the shopping. We are working hard to protect grocery workers while ensuring families have flexibility to meet their needs during this difficult time.

A long day for many as families, staff, and students make sense of the many implications. We need to be thoughtful and measured, making sure that we look after the physical and mental health of our communities. Everyone has questions. Let’s stay connected.
