Twitter #event people! Any ideas on managing questions from the audience at a 450 seater event? Any clever technology, instead of the potluck of roving mics. Esp the same olds making very long points & not actually asking a question! #eventmanagement

WANTED: DEER-CONTROL SPECIALIST: ENGLAND. We are seeking to rejuvenate amazing, complex, feathered, scrub-rich, fence-poor habitats across England. We'd rather use lynx, but with none around, humans will do - but only those who grasp why regrowing trees is important for us all.

The UK government's ruthless and reckless policies that "go for growth” require us all to ask the essential questions that Donella Meadows - mother of systems thinking - set out decades ago. So join me in answering these questions... 1/n

Feeling increasingly anxious about the failure of my profession to even talk about, let alone take action, on its role in the climate crisis, today I sat peacefully on the steps of @middletemple holding up the Lawyers Declaration of Rebellion, my wig & gown at my feet…

Really interesting day seeing how woodland creation is contributing to reducing flood risk on a catchment scale funded by green finance. Thanks for hosting @WyreRiversTrust @TM_WRT & to all the folk who made this happen. Great to catch up again

What a great afternoon. Lots of exciting opportunities to work together for nature and to share experiences on opening our estates to people. (Really gotta watch that ‘master of all he surveys’ stance though - that’s NT land I’m eyeing up for a start)

Great to have open air meeting with Carl & @WoodlandTrust Darren & Alistair today to discuss sustainability and opportunities for trees & nature on @CoalAuthority land. Thank you for the invitation to beautiful Londonthorpe Woods - it was great to see your inclusive work there

@SGLocky I’m not sure this transfers to my sector….I think our senior leaders want impact, and happy healthy teams. I’d be surprised if their own health & happiness was high on their agenda despite how much it needs to be….

Leaders want coaches to help them be healthy. Leaders want coaches to help them be happy. It is not that they don't have functional, material or status goals. It's just that health and happiness comes first.

In the last year I've coached a lot of senior leaders. And I have started to notice some themes. This thread describes the two biggest goals that executives and leaders have right now. And what they are doing to achieve them. 🧵
