2021 RIVERS GROUP AWARD ANNOUCEMENT WINNER: Wahine Toa Award - Dr Jo Hoyle Jo’s work has been fundamental to furthering our knowledge and understanding of how our unique braided rivers evolve through time, and the connection between river geomorphology and river ecosystems.

2021 RIVERS GROUP AWARD ANNOUCEMENT WINNER: Early Career Award - Emma McFarlane Emma received the award for her work on all stages of the Motueka River Levee Refurbishment project including hydraulic modelling, risk assessment, shovel ready funding application and construction.
