Platinum Award at the Scottish Concert Band Festival finals! 🏆 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We were very proud of our two bands at the SCBF Finals in Perth. Our Youth Band received a Platinum Award, while our Training Band received a Gold Plus Award. Well done, team! #inverclyde #brassband

The final day @InverclydeFest saw team brass take to the stage! Thanks to Mr Hutcheson we had lots of pupils performing in a range of classes! Great performances from everyone! S2 pupil Isla was awarded 🥈 in the Grade 3 & 4 class playing ‘A Whole New World’ on trombone 🧜🏼‍♀️Yay! 🎉

Ash also took home the AJ Gourlay Trophy for the best performance in a Senior Entry; The Musicians’ Union (Greenock Branch) Shield for the best Junior Solo Instrumental performer in the age group 12 – 18 years; the J A Sloan Trophy, and the BSI Cup. #inverclyde #brassband

This year’s @InverclydeFest was a very special one for principal cornetist, Ash! 🏆 🎶 Ash won the Andrew B Cockle Trophy, performing the second and third movements of Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto, earning her the opportunity to perform at the end-of-festival concert. #inverclyde

THE 99th INVERCLYDE MUSIC FESTIVAL curtain closed with the most incredible Celebration Concert at Port Glasgow Town Hall. From start to finish, the performances were world class. Thank you for being part of something special 👏. See you next year 🎶
