RIVERVIEW SCHOOLS ARE OPEN AND ON TIME JANUARY 19, 2024 Riverview will be open and on time for school today, January 19, 2024, with no anticipated changes to the school day. Additionally, today will remain a previously scheduled Full Day Friday for all schools in the district.

UPDATE: Riverview Schools are now CLOSED for January 18, 2024 following an additional round of road checks this morning. All meetings, field trips and after school activities are also cancelled, with no Extended Day services provided.

We are making plans for a Two-Hour Late Start tomorrow, 1/18/24. No Preschool or AM Extended Day, No Out-of-District Transportation. Encompass will be closed. Our team will reassess conditions tomorrow morning and we will confirm a final decision by 7:00 a.m.

UPDATE: Riverview Schools CLOSED for January 17, 2024. Meetings, field trips after school activities cancelled. Cedarcrest after school activities/athletics reassessed by Noon. Updates to come from Cedarcrest directly. No Extended Day services will be provided.

Riverview School District is on a two-hour late start for Wednesday, January 17. No preschool. No AM Extended Day. No Out-of-District Transportation. Encompass will be closed. As we continue to monitor the conditions, a further update will be provided by 7:00 a.m.

RIVERVIEW SCHOOLS OPEN AND ON TIME After completing road checks, assessing conditions this morning, Riverview will remain open and on time today, January 12, 2024, with no anticipated changes to the school day. We continue to monitor conditions and provide any updates.

With an unexpected utility outage occurring with our water pump system at Cedarcrest High School, school is cancelled for Cedarcrest students on Monday, January 8, 2024. All other schools will operate as normal. We will provide further updates as we monitor the situation.
