All good things come to an end, as we officially resign from the NKSFL. The work commitments of many, plus an unbelievable number of lengthy injuries have forced the decision, but the players who stuck it out can, and should, hold their heads high.

0-4 loss to Gravesend Spartans in cup this morning. Credit to them, but to keep turning up with 9/10 players, plus losing your keeper with injury made it easy for them. Not sure we will see next week out let alone the rest of the season………

Suffer a 1-5 loss to Guru Nanak today. Lack of numbers again impacting but in the game at 1-1 until 75th minute. Can’t fault the effort or commitment of those there today, thanks lads 👍 Kin Beila ⚽️

Easy to say ‘bad day at the office’ as we lose 0-5 to Black Lion Hartley but in fairness to them they won every battle on the pitch whilst we were never at the races. They were well deserved winners. Onto the next game!!

Good game versus Grand Sports this morning, twice behind and once ahead game finished 3-3. Gutting for Charlie Clover, 3 goals in 43 minutes then pulls hamstring!!!! Lost momentum in second half, but credit to both teams in adverse weather. Clover ⚽️⚽️⚽️ Flatman assist ⚽️⚽️

1st time in 11 seasons of running the club, I’ve had to cancel a game due to lack of numbers. Work, Injuries, illness and covid has affected us this weekend but also the lack of interest & respect by others who can’t be bothered to respond and have read the messages. @NKSFL

We edge a 2-1 win against Dartford Eagles today with goals from H and Milo. Great penalty save from Cole Windsor secures the points in another close game. Very solid performance from all!! ⚽️ Whiteford ⚽️ Miles

Good win over New Ash Green today, 3-0 and very well deserved. Solid team performance from all players and call out to Cole Windsor who stepped in as goalkeeper when we lost James Fry to injury Louie Watkin ⚽️ Harry Whiteford ⚽️ Reece Bishop ⚽️

Not the start we wanted, bare bones of team on first game of the season and Real Gima made us pay with a 11-0 defeat. Credit to the boys out there as they kept going to the end, hopefully we get the numbers in for next week. Onto the next…..

Loss 3-1 to New Ash Green today, credit to them for a spirited display and worthy winners. Lack of attendees and players having to fill in is starting to have an impact but no excuses, not at the races today and deserved to lose Clover ⚽️
