Deputy Kirk visited the 8th grade ELA classes today. The students are currently learning about the impacts of Social Media and online behavior.

Mrs. daSilva and Mrs. Wojtkiewicz have teamed up for a cross-curricular project. In ELA, students are analyzing dystopian novels, while in science they focus on renewable energy and resources as they design and build model utopian cities.

Thank you Whitsons Culinary Group for the opportunity to serve lunch to Riverview School, Silver Lake, Wisconsin students. Besides the opportunity to serve, the best part was witnessing first hand our students say please and thank you! It was so refreshing to hear almost every student demonstrate respect for the kitchen staff! #gocomets #Leadership

Good Evening, Riverview Families, Due to the National Weather Service forecast and in the interest of student and staff safety, Riverview Elementary School (Grades 4K–8) will be closed on Monday, March 16th. Riverview Families, If your student is a bus rider, we do have the buses coming to run their routes. Your child will go home on their normal route. Additionally, Kids Club is unable to be here. If your child goes to Kids Club, pick up arrangements will need to be made. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the power outage.

Thank you for your continued support and patience. The power company does not have a clear return-to-service time, and due to the inability to provide a full lunch for all children and the lack of water, which prevents bathroom use, we will dismiss at 11:00 am. We understand this decision comes with an abrupt change to your day, and if you need to communicate any pick-up challenges, please email Riverview School at riverview-office@silverlakejt1.k12.wi.us. Good Morning, Riverview Families, The school district is currently experiencing a power outage at the school. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as any changes occur. Although we are adjusting and managing the current situation, any prolonged power outage may result in an early dismissal. At this point, we will remain in constant contact with our power company and maintain business as usual. You will hear from me again at 10:30 am with an update.
