A busy Thursday for our IB biology seniors— they created self sustaining mesocosms, and then moved on to practicing Chi-squared statistics!!💡🌱📈🧮

This past week, students were busy researching and creating infographics for their Human Impact projects!! Their hard work culminated in a gallery walk where they got to examine and evaluate peer projects.🌟🌟🌟

Biology students demonstrated their understanding of ecological succession by creating comic strips. Some chose to use online platforms to create their comic strips, and others did them by hand! 🌳👩‍🎨

IB Biology seniors got creative and developed their own experiments to measure rates of photosynthesis using spinach leaves! 🧪🌱

We had a great first week of Biology!!! For Week 1, our focus was on community building and practicing scientific inquiry. So excited for week 2 with the BEST science students in the county!!! ❤️🧬
