I wanna talk about something which makes me sad, and is very close to my heart. - French car makers I think the Citroen Basalt and Aircross hardly sell 70-100 units a month, in India. I agree that sales and service network is smaller, and long term worries with Citroen and other struggling brands and there are shortcomings in those cars, not entirely the people's fault. ....but have you ever thought about those cars? Basalt is the benchmark for comfort, and suspension It's backseat can eat Creta, Seltos and a suspension which is exceptionally well rounded (It's very controlled, it's sophisticated, and it absorbs poor roads better than any other car in the segment) It has the best boot-space in it's category, Under thigh adjustment which is so simple but SO GENIUS! Aircross, which is more serious about driving pleasure (don't look at the specsheet, take a test drive instead) While still being comfortable for family use. They did not have many features in the cars, which they are finally adapting as per customer demands... But people are still crying about flap-style door handles. (Flap >>> Flush, my strong opinion) Renault, finally brought the Duster back...another French car maker, Duster is a bigger brand in India than Renault I don't even need to talk about the Duster, do I? Legend on it's own... And for all the criticism I have had for the Triber, and I would never buy a Triber because I'm not the target audience.....that car has my respect It is more spacious in the third row compared to an Ertiga, while being sub-4 metre. It has a dull 1.0L NA engine, but the first gear is so short that it can climb incline even with 7 people on board. (Not enthusiastically, but effectively) Until the Kylaq came out, we did not have a well rounded car from the VW/Skoda family (especially the suspension part) And I'm so happy that the Kylaq is doing so well, I love that car...I want it to sell even more so people understand a car is more than just transport and fuel economy. But the French already figured that out long ago, their suspension setups are usually EXCELLENT. (exceptions aside) In the market of gimmicks and tech being thrown at our face, with 100 thousand features and 57 screens. .....nice cars, finish last. We miss them after they're gone, but nobody wants to buy them while they're here. I hope atleast the Duster becomes a huge success and retains it's legendary status.

One story worth reading about Bullet Train project today is this. Read how a gang of 8, land mafias, grabbed land from real land owners, opened bank accounts in their name and took money with them. While the land acquisition officer and collector office are washing their hands off, they are equally responsible for not scrutinising the paperwork correctly. Crores of money belonging to land owners seems to be siphoned off. This requires a SIT. Story in @HT_Mumbai by @memeghasood

Printers haven't improved in 20 years because improving them would destroy the most profitable business model in consumer hardware. HP made $4.2 billion in printing revenue last quarter. Ink cartridge margins run 60-70%. Hardware margins are close to zero. The entire business depends on you buying a $30 printer and spending $300 a year on ink to feed it. Every possible improvement works against that math. Longer-lasting cartridges, more efficient printing, better paper handling that wastes fewer pages. All of those shrink the $4.2 billion number. So instead of improving the printer, HP spent two decades improving the lock-in. Firmware updates that brick third-party cartridges. Subscription plans that disable your printer if you cancel. Chips on cartridges that report "empty" at 40% remaining. Region-locked ink. Canon and Epson run the same playbook. Three companies control 75%+ of the consumer printer market and all three discovered the same thing: the customer already accepted that printers suck. There is zero competitive pressure to make them better because nobody switches printer brands expecting improvement. The setup experience still feels like 2004 because the setup was never where the money was. The money was always in the cartridge you replace six weeks later.

Setting up a new printer and it is amazing there have been exactly zero advances in printer technology in like 20 years

Emailed Nitin Gadkari ji regarding: AI for Potholes > Real-time pothole detection > Automated penalties for contractors/officials If tolls can be AI-driven, same tech should ensure road quality, safety & accountability. Requesting all to send similar email so govt acts on it!

Nitin Gadkari ji says "A new AI-driven toll system will capture photos of number plates & deduct toll amount directly from bank accounts". So why can’t we use same technology to capture photos of potholes & deduct salaries of govt employees? Accountability can't be one sided!

> guy installs solar panels to "go green" > electric bill drops > within months his wife starts getting headaches > kids can't sleep > he measures the house > DIRTY ELECTRICTY is off the charts > the inverter converting DC to AC is pumping high-frequency noise into every wire in his home > NOBODY told him about this when he signed the contract Clean energy. Dirty electricity.
Rusty ⚡️: Solar Powered ☀️@ze_rusty

Most people think nnEMFs exist only near power lines or wireless devices Solar panels create nnEMFs that travel further However, it's not the panels themselves, The problem comes from the electronics, especially the Inverters & monitoring system nnEMFs from Solar Panels 🧵
