@Rizirito I’ve seen some games finding a cool balance between fun and rewards lately.

Web3 games aren’t fun to play. If there were no earning incentives, i don’t think many people would even try them out. Feels like the hype is driven more by creators getting paid to promote them than by actual player enjoyment. If the gameplay can’t stand on its own without token incentives... is it really a game?

Unpopular opinion: a peaceful Pokémon game might be better than constant battling. Pokémon Pokopia shows the world doesn’t need fights to be fun. Exploring, building, and just living alongside your Pokémon could carry an entire game. Imagine creating your own region, building homes, and going on adventures together. That’s peak Pokémon.
