Payton planned to sit Mahomes behind Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees for multiple seasons and let him develop. Pat would have learned from one of the all-time great QBs and would have been paired with a future Hall of Fame coach. Kansas City would have never won all their Super Bowls… while New Orleans would’ve been the next great dynasty. Crazy 🤯🤯🤯
