Gotta feel sorry for people writing reviews when the product launched 3 minutes ago. Hasn’t been validated, proven or achieved any kind of successful use to brag about. Google creates a ton of services and products. Most don’t workout. Just statistics and it’s fine for them. Hopefully this works out but it has nothing on Whoop, Oura ring, and other stuff that have proven track record.

@jmwilt21 The whoop doesn’t do anything better than the air. Gemini health integration alone is a great reason to choose anair over a whoop.

My Pixel watch 2 is still going strong so no real reason for me to get the Fitbit Air, but it seems like a good affordable product. As for whoop, the Air is great if you really wanted a whoop but couldn't justify the price, but for people using whoop who are serious about fitness, they aren't tempted by the Fitbit air.

I’m going to be wearing this over WHOOP.

We might all be switching to android soon if Google can pull this off. May 12 2026.
