Let me share something. In Pakistan, a lot of women don’t wear the hijab. It’s not enforced by law and many families do not practice it. In my life I’ve met very few families where every woman practices it. I had a friend from university who didn’t wear a hijab until her final year. It was a decision she decided to make herself. No one else in her family wore it. And she actually suffered for it because people began to judge her. She was treated differently, some saw her as “too religious” now and gave her weird looks. Even in a mostly Muslim country this kind of judgement is possible. My friend didn’t change as a person she was the same as she always was but it was a difficult time for her as it’s something she wanted to do As for why she wore it? She said it made her feel closer to God, that’s about it. It can be a choice and it is a choice for many women. But it is also forced upon to oppress many women. It’s not rocket science to be against forcing women to dress a certain way instead of demonising an article of clothing. Seriously it’s like women can’t catch a break huh? Damned if you do damned if you don’t

"Tomodachi life is a game for kids there shouldn't be any symbol of religion in the game it's propaganda" there's literally a turban and you're telling me they can't add a hijab 💀
