@RKropachek @googlesearchc @JohnMu Now, not just MacObserver, but the highly trusted HowToGeek has also lost the featured snippet. At the same time, I notice a lot of low-trust websites that typically write about food and fitness venturing into the tech niche.

@googlesearchc Just witnessed the worst update EVER! Top mac niche sites like MacObserver lost their featured snippets unjustly, while low-quality ones easily rank at 0. What's up with that? 😡 #SEO @JohnMu

It’s a valid point that at such a young age, children are naturally inclined to friendship and play, regardless of race or ethnicity. Early childhood education on such topics can be tailored to foster inclusivity and kindness, without necessarily diving into the complexities of systemic racism or activism. Discussions on these more complex issues can be more appropriate as children grow and develop a capacity to understand and engage with them in a meaningful way. It's all about age-appropriate education and conversation. 🧒📷#school #education

.@JoeRogan discusses a California school indoctrinating his 5-year-old daughter into a "woke, guilt-ridden ideology" centered around becoming an antiracist activist. "They hired some person to teach them that they have to be antiracist and it's not good enough not to be racist. What? My kids aren't racist at all. Why are you putting that into their head? That they have to be antiracist and call out racism. They were trying to make them be activists. Hey, they're five. They want friends. They don't care what their friends look like. They are trying to have a good time. They're five. They're just playing. You're indoctrinating them into this woke, guilt-ridden ideology that you are carrying around with you, and you feel like you have an obligation to impose this on children. Our goal should have always been the goals the liberals had in the 60s and 70s, which is a color-blind society. The Martin Luther King notion that we should treat people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin... None of the real problems get addressed, and instead, they just try to make kids feel guilty. I didn't like the woke s**t. I didn't like that they were asking kids their pronouns." ------ Why are schools brainwashing young children into becoming antiracist activists who perceive the world predominantly through the prism of skin color? How can we inspire Americans to re-embrace Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision of a color-blind society, where the focus lies on the content of one's character rather than the color of one's skin?

Absolutely! Every update Google has rolled out in the past made sense, until the most recent one - the Healthy Content Update. This change has unexpectedly removed featured snippets from thousands of top-ranking niche websites, instead highlighting forums and outdated topics on Reddit. We, the SEO community, are optimistic that Google is on the path to resolving this with the ongoing update. Thank you! @JohnMu @googlesearchc #SEO #SearchEngineOptimization

Just noticed something astonishing. One of the top White-Hat Mac/tech niche sites, macgasm.net, lost ALL its featured snippets after the latest update, yet there’s been no drop in the usual ranking! Is this a glitch in the matrix, or could there be an issue with Google's featured snippets algorithm? @googlesearchc @Google, you might want to take a closer look at those algos. I’ll personally reward the SEO experts, who can shed light on this issue! #SEO

An opinion piece recently appeared stating that Google “just flat out deletes queries and replaces them with ones that monetize better.” We don’t. The piece contains serious inaccuracies about how Google Search works. The organic (IE: non-sponsored) results you see in Search are not affected by our ads systems. In particular, the piece seems to misunderstand how keyword matching is related to showing relevant ads on Google Search. Ad keyword matching is a long-standing and well-known process that is designed to connect people to relevant ads. Learn more here: support.google.com/google-ads/ans… A separate process, which has nothing to do with ads, is used to match organic results to a query, as explained here: google.com/search/howsear… It’s no secret that Google Search looks beyond the specific words in a query to better understand their meaning, in order to show relevant organic results. This is a helpful process that we’ve written about many times: google.com/search/howsear… blog.google/products/searc… blog.google/products/searc… blog.google/products/searc… This ensures that Google Search can better show people organic results and connect them to helpful resources. If you make a spelling mistake, or search for a term that’s not on a page but where the page has a close synonym, or if you aren’t even sure exactly how to search for something, our meaning matching systems help.

@Podolyak_M Smaller in numbers, yet mighty in spirit. The battleground isn’t scripted by politicians or election timelines; it’s carved by the unwavering resolve of Ukrainian forces. #SlavaUkraini

Let's be objective. Despite all of Russia's investments in building defense lines, contaminating fields with mines, demothballing old equipment, and conducting mobilization rotations, Ukraine continues to push its own offensive scenario step by step and impose its will on the battlefield. The Ukrainian army is breaking the Russian defense line, destroying rear logistics, cutting off Crimea as a transportation hub from the occupation groupings, and depleting Russian reserves. All of this has a cumulative effect. And most importantly, it is getting closer to cutting off the railroad connection, without which it will be simply impossible for Russia to hold the entire Southern Front. All of this is often happening contrary to military doctrine, as the Ukrainian military is advancing in smaller numbers and is facing a much better supplied and equipped enemy. Do politicians believe that this is not as fast as the laws of serial drama require, and the schedule of military operations does not fit into the election campaigns? In this case, I would like to draw attention to one detail. Today, on the 588th day of the war, we are not discussing the Russian offensive. We are discussing the pace of Ukraine's offensive and only occasionally pay attention to the propaganda clamor of Russian officials demanding that the West prevent Russia's defeat.
