Sources: The NCAA has denied Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby’s request for reinstatement for eligibility for the 2026 season. Sorsby has completed his 35-day in-patient rehab for his gambling addiction at Algamus in Goodyear, Arizona.

Tennessee State coach Nolan Smith and the Tigers have officially signed Aaron Bradshaw and Arterio Morris. Bradshaw was a McDonald’s All-American coming out of high school. Spent freshman season at UK, sophomore at Ohio state, last season at Memphis. Morris was a top 25 player coming out of high school, was at Texas his freshman season, Kansas sophomore and averaged 11.5 points at Bethune-Cookman last season.

Maper Maker, who visited Memphis earlier this month, chooses John Calipari and Arkansas.

NCAA confirms it might vote on the new five-for-five eligibility rules in June. If it votes yes, here is the implementation process:

If this new rule is enforced as written, at least half of college basketball's preseason top 25 teams just lost one or more starters. Dropping it in May, with no replacement options available, makes very little sense.

The NCAA's new (very poorly timed) rule sends a clear message: international players are no longer welcome in the college game. ACB, France, Italy, Australian NBL and anyone who's ever played for a EuroLeague team, even for next to nothing, are suddenly permanently ineligible?
