Senior players tried to talk to Hardik Pandya multiple times. Several attempts were made to improve the atmosphere in the dressing room, but Hardik Pandya wouldn’t listen to those senior players.
Moving on to the coaching setup, Hardik Pandya ran things his own way there as well. If coaches or support staff suggested something, he would listen to them for a moment, but he would not implement those plans on the field.

मैं शुरू से कह रहा था हार्दिक को कुछ खिलाड़ियों का साथ नहीं मिल रहा था। मुंबई इंडियंस को अगर जीतना है तो उनके पास दो ही विकल्प हैं। एक.. या तो हार्दिक को टीम से हटाया जाए... दूसरा उन चार खिलाड़ियों को हटाया जाए। उन चारों ने हार्दिक की कप्तानी में अच्छा प्रदर्शन नहीं किया। निश्चित तौर पर कोई फ्रेंचाइजी एक खिलाड़ी को गंवायेगी, चार को नहीं। हालांकि ये भी देखना चाहिए कि 2024 विश्व कप जिताने में मुख्य भूमिका निभाने के बावजूद हार्दिक को मुंबई इंडियंस का कप्तान मानने को कुछ लोग तैयार नहीं हुए। यही नहीं 2024 विश्व कप से पहले ऐसी खबरें भी आईं थीं कि हार्दिक को विश्व कप में चुना जाये या नहीं। अगर मुंबई इंडियंस ने रोहित को हटाकर हार्दिक को कप्तान बनाया तो इसमें हार्दिक की क्या गलती? ये तो मुंबई इंडियंस के प्रबंधन का फैसला था। #ipl26

Abhishek Tripathi tweeted first, and Rohit Juglan quoted it immediately. Soon Shubhayan Chakraborty commented on it, and Kushan Sarkar also joined the conversation. It seems like a coordinated attempt to shift the entire blame onto Rohit, Surya, Tilak, and Bumrah while hiding Hardik’s failures as captain and his poor performances.
These are the same voices who were campaigning for Hardik to become India’s captain before the Champions Trophy and pushing for Rohit’s retirement after the tournament. The pattern is becoming harder and harder to ignore.
