We are so lucky that Valve is the developer behind Deadlock because they actually listen to the community.
Ivy 2.0 would’ve been an absolute nuclear bomb to the game’s visual design. It felt like it could have been the start of a downward spiral where the art style slowly loses the any grit and identity that makes Deadlock stand out. Give an inch, take a mile a tale as old as time.
I’m genuinely so glad the community made such a fuss over Ivy 2.0 because it might’ve actually saved the game’s art direction. Ivy 3.0 looks great.
The idea of a man being a "little bitch" for a woman is so offputting, if you're going to do the dom wife sub husband thing the husband has to be a bit of a brat and put some resistance and insist with his personality so his subjugation can be more satisfying 👍
In Alien 3’s script, Clemens has his head torn clean off by the Xenomorph in the infirmary scene. This is depicted in the Dark Horse Comics adaptation.
I've playtested EXODUS at @ArchetypeEnt headquarters.
Video soon.
While I can't say much about the game right now - I will say that @DrewKarpyshyn, @crobertson_atx and Chris King are some really cool dudes.
Can't wait to share more.
