Not every kid gets to celebrate their 9th birthday in midst a pandemic. You my dear are handling it with grace. Thank you to @cohengrafflin @RoKissmann & Mrs. Kandalaft for celebrating. Sam's favorite teachers gave him sweet teary eyed smile & a warm heart!

@MsBillings2 This can apply to school climate as well. The moods of people, just like weather, change every day!

I’d like to hope that my legacy reads something like this... 1. Always put kids at the center of decisions. 2. Took the work really seriously but never took himself too seriously. 3. Lead with heart, humanity & empathy so that people I served feel respected. #KidsDeserveIt

“You can act as a bulldozer and run people over, a doormat and allow yourself to be run over, a doormat with spikes and employ passive aggressive tactics, or you can be a pillar. A pillar stands up for itself without stepping on anyone else.” @LDamour @RBSChappaqua @RossCoops31

@RossCoops31 Many teachers like to stick with what has always been done because it’s comfortable. But you can’t grow and learn when you’re comfortable!

Administrators generally like initiatives. Teachers/Staff generally dislike initiatives...At some point, in a blog post and/or book, I may need to dissect WHY this contrast exists to clarify my thinking... What are our thoughts?
