@bkkdude @Mighty7693524 It's the only thing I can brag about as the CRV costs almost 2x as much 😂
English

@Roach_BKK @Mighty7693524 2 mm difference, whatever floats your car 😂😂
English

@bkkdude @Mighty7693524 Yaris Cross has more ground clearance than a CRV 😅
English

@Mighty7693524 CRV has better ground clearance. Also the HRV and Toyota Cross

Sarah and Mike can get fucked 🤣

Message from the Airbnb host I received in the US American tipping culture is utterly disgusting
English

@bkkdude @Mighty7693524 They are more fun to drive than a Corolla Cross for example which is a more boring but practical option 😂
You will be fine for 364 days per year but maybe you get unlucky that 1 day.
English

@Mighty7693524 Whatever you buy remember it has to survive sudden flash floods in central Bangkok during rainy season. So that’s a no for Civic, Camry and accord.
English

@ChrisWest630 @TonsTweetings You overestimate the economic contribution like retirees on Thaivisa thinking they are important for Thai GDP because they built a house somewhere.
Bottom line is that current DTV is being abused. There were reasons why the govt cracked down on visa mills and border runs.
English

@Roach_BKK @TonsTweetings You know. 99.9% of these digital nomads/freelancer are law abiding and bring a large economic benifit to Thailand. But you never hear about them. Only the 0.1% that are criminals and the 1 with explosives who was on an elite Visa that anybody can get for 650k.

@Mighty7693524 Let's say 3000km a month you would hit 160k in 4-5 years and be out of warranty. Toyota/Honda repair bill would be a lot cheaper.
English

@Roach_BKK I will do pattaya-bangkok every week and a lot of local driving in bangkok.
900k thb is ridiculous. I may just get a hybrid honda or toyota.
English

@ChrisWest630 @TonsTweetings DTV is not about having funds in the bank but showing employment or being enrolled in a 'soft power' course but people are getting approved while having neither of those.
English

@Roach_BKK @TonsTweetings I have way more that the required 500k baht in the bank and have a income of 7k USD monthly and still get rejected in Vietnam. True story
English

@lalisamyl0ver Start with 20,000, 6 days and then change your job after a few months to 20,000 at 5 days.
1 day off per week is very exhausting.
English

@ChrisWest630 @TonsTweetings There are videos on YT of people using agents in Laos who have no jobs (except for their shitty channel with <5000 followers that provide no income) and aren't enrolled into any 'softpower' class either.
You can't just go in there and put cash on the table like it's the 90's
English

@Roach_BKK @TonsTweetings I've literally went through DTV application in Vietnam HCM. There is absolutely zero way to bribe anybody. I wasn't even allowed to enter the Thai embassy in HCM. The guard said exactly this to me" visa application online only. And I can not answer anymore questions"
English

@ChrisWest630 @TonsTweetings DTV was never intended for people already in Thailand or to stay 365 days on it. They go to Vietnam or Laos for the application is easier because of the C word.
English

@Roach_BKK @TonsTweetings Because they're the nearest neighbouring countries to Thailand. People living in Thailand have to move to a longer term visa. Boarder runs are finished.
English

@ChrisWest630 @TonsTweetings So why are people going to Laos and Vietnam for their applications then ?
It's supposed to be for people who are resident in their own country or country of employment yet here we are 🎩🪄
English

@Roach_BKK @TonsTweetings Why do you think that is going on. The DTV is done all online.
English

@JimReaper11 @bangkoklad A lot of people don't fathom how insane the asset gap in Thailand actually is.
English

@bangkoklad 99% of the wealth in 1% of the hands, that's the basic problem in Thailand.
