@TomHanksVB He would be going to a 30’ well, rigid triple axle with a hydraulic flip 4th axle. Also a slightly longer neck and 45 ton rated.

Customer ordered this from us new in 2024 and is just looking to get a new one with a few different options is only reason for selling. For Sale: 2022 RoadRuner MFG Model 2000 Gooseneck Tender Trailer / Nurse Trailer 2350gal FULLY drainable tank, has Honda Engine and John Blue pump with 30gal inductor cone setup. 235/85R16 tires, 12,000lb axles, electric brakes. 10’ of deck space in front of tank. The way that Brad has set the axles and king pin set on this trailer, with a 4800gal tank it will have approximately 2500lbs more weight than our normal Model 4000 with a 3750 tank. With that being said, we would highly recommend a truck have a pusher axle for this particular setup.

I feel like the most overloaded part of a semi with one of your 53’ 3,750 gal triple axle trailers is the drive axles of the tractor. They’re rated for 34,000 and I’ve never weighed them but I bet they are North of 40,000 a fair ways when I’m loaded with water and herbicide and a sprayer. I feel like your bigger tank will add an additional 7,000# even if 20% of the extra weight is carried by the trailer axles. Most of us don’t care that much whether we are legal but we do care whether we break stuff or not. So to me the big question is, am I going to start breaking stuff on my semi trying to carry that? If the answer is no then I think you’d sell a lot of them. If the answer is yes those particular trailers might not have a very good reputation in a few years. I personally am still more interested in the Super B if we change anything. But if I were buying a new trailer today, I’d study the issue and see how likely it was that I thought I’d break stuff on my semi and if it wasn’t me very likely it would be hard to ignore a 4,800 gal option.

Putting this out there to see what interest there would be! It is a 57' quad axle Model 4000 with a 4200gal tank (we are checking on the availability of a 4800gal tank!!!, currently no company offers one in the footprint we need). A 4800gal tank would offer the most versatility for owners of 1200 & 1600 gallon sprayers. We have had a few people ask about a tank bigger than the 3750 we use, so we came up with this. The neck has to be longer (16' instead of our normal 12') to accommodate the larger tank. This trailer would have a completely different frame than our current 4000 and would only be available in a quad axle configuration. @thebikingfarmer On the lead trailer, there would be enough space to hold a pair of shuttles without stacking them. On the rear trailer, the Model 4000, it can hold our ProFill II metering system and 6 shuttles without stacking them. The mid deck on the Model 4000 is 11’ wide and 14.5’ long.

Introducing The RoadRuner MFG Super B (unofficial name at this time)! Equipped with triple axle air ride suspension, air lift front axle, pictured with a 3250 gallon fully drainable tank and outer aluminum wheels. Meant to add capacity and efficiency to your operation, especially if travelling far or short on labor to tender your normal machine. This is something we have been asked about off and on for a few years now and we've went ahead and put one together, after we finish plumbing this we will update pictures. We finally got this done and the customer was able to get it hooked up and put to use! Lead trailer is the Super B - 28’ overall, triple axle air ride with a 3750gal fully drainable tank. Rear trailer is a Model 4000 - 51’ overall, Quad axle air ride and a 3750gal fully drainable tank with the ProFill II metering system. We understand this isn’t a setup for everybody, but it can definitely add capacity to your operation if you struggle keeping your sprayer tendered.

@rjwhermanson Ours does not. We have seen it before but only offer D-Rings at front and rear of outriggers.

@RoadRunerMFG Darn, I should have tried to patent it. But does yours have a 5th wheel that the sprayer locks into so you don’t have to chain down?

We finally got to put together one of our goosenecks with a 2750gal tank and a meter box mounted on the side. Also built it with a flip down inductor cone, this setup freed up a large portion of the deck for 4 shuttles!
