@elonmusk Yeah the units aren’t consistent across the rows, and therefore requires an extra step to analyze correctly. The numbers may be correct, but the inconsistency may cause people who don’t do that extra step to reach the wrong conclusion.

Any corrections or comments about these numbers?

@donttrythis Hypothesis on your mystery lathe problem - the rod that the dial attaches to is inserted “backwards”. That is, the end that’s in the machine should be the dial end, and vice versa.

I had an exciting bug last night — forgetting a scale factor caused a much better than expected result. It turned out that my baseline also had a bug in it, and they were mostly cancelling out. Almost the equivalent of the graphics programmer’s “even number of sign errors”.
