@SplattTheTwat Been wondering that myself, from my working experience I cannot see how the club needs to worry about and recourse or tribunal for unfair dismissal after what he’s done and the EFL report. Sure we will find out why they are delaying it and no doubt it’ll be another problem!

Embarrassed heartbroken and disgusted with our Club but the EFL is a joke too. The 72 hr rule is absurd, there should be no spying period. No punishment existed for spying rule. Should have made ruling before semis. Hard to believe they weren’t influenced by media. #saintsfc

I hope Solak is on a plane over to sack Parsons and everyone involved in the spying. Complete change of personnel immediately needed with a full contrite apology to fans and players. Only then can we start again. But us fans will live with this embarrassment for years #saintsfc

@AlfieHouseEcho Wholesale change is needed asap from top to bottom of those guilty and allowing the spying. If Parsons didn’t know he must go too as his handling of the whole affair has been appalling by any CEO standards. Regardless of how the football world sees us now we have to start again.

@AdamBlackmore Still every chance we would have still been booted out if he’d come clean. Struggle to see it’s only 3 games they spied on if he says that’s normal, must have been many more. All those involved have to be sacked now and lots more problems ahead.

2/2 Miy biggest frustration is I still think this situation could have been avoided ! #SaintsFC I asked Tonda after the Boro game why someone doesn't just come out and admit fault and take a hit .....but of course lawyers probably advised silence But there's no way it would be this bad if 1) Tonda comes out on day 1 and says sorry, didn't know the rules, I'm German, we do things differently in Europe etc., and 2) the Club say we'll review it and fix it etc., and apologise and say they understand the seriousness of what they've done The EFL and football would have been more forgiving and they might have got a fine and a points hit A little humility goes a long way

@aaronjamesf1 Listened to Stefan Borson the sports lawyer on the radio and he said a big part of it will be the ability to prove Saints gained any advantage from the incident in the 2 games.

A brief explainer on what could happen in the up coming hearing. ✅ The onus is on #saintsfc to explain what happened and prove the mitigation. ❌ It won't involve additional information - if it's happened elsewhere that'll mean more charges and probably a delay to hearing.

@jakemeyers2015 That’s what we are all waiting to find out from the investigation, only heard Boro’s side and the media pile on so far.

This is the million dollar question. If #SaintsFC didn't think they'd gain an advantage, why send a spy in the first place? They must have thought there would be a sufficient benefit to cheating.
