@Davefphotos Thanks so much for sharing Dave! I hope all's well with you. It seems a lot of the old 'tog community are no longer on this platform. Maybe all on insta I guess!
Decided to put my good old 'Curves' photo into @natlandawards this year and it only went and got 3rd place in the Seascape category! Very pleased. #Scotland
Well, it's 5 years to the day since the passing of my Dad at the hospice. So quite fitting that the @OvergateHospice calendar landed on the mat this morning featuring a couple of my images. Thanks folks, hope it sells well. 🙏
Someone asked me the other day whether I had any photos of the Daily Tailors shop in Halifax - and going through my archives, I discovered I had one - or at least half of one (think of it as a photographic sports jacket rather than a suit). The photo must be one of my earliest, dating back to 1964, and unfortunately, it misses out the main door to the shop. As a bonus, however, it is in colour - I must have been using up the last few shots from a summer holiday film.
@RobBirkby Thank you, I shall note that. Today wasn't overly busy to my mind. I live in a tourist spot and some of the scenic walks here can get very overcrowded.
Amazing picture. Very atmospheric! ☺️
It's so mild at the minute - starting to feel like spring! Here's one from Hardcastle Crags in the spring..going for the jungle look!

@ArtFromTheShed Great to hear. I recommend late October/early November when the colours are pretty spectacular...or the depths of winter when nobody else there!
@RobBirkby I visited today for the first time. It's just the most beautiful place. Lucky with the weather too. I love how it opens up from cosy, almost romantic pathways into breathtaking vistas.
I shall return ❤️
