Following Monday’s visit by the Reform party and its leader, Nigel Farage, the club would like to issue the following statement:
Ipswich Town Football Club has, over several years, hosted representatives from a range of political parties. The club remains apolitical and does not support or endorse any individual or party.
The club will continue to engage with representatives from across the political spectrum as part of its role within the community.
Ipswich Town is proud to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming organisation that supports all members of the local and wider community. This commitment remains unchanged.
@benleo444@IpswichTown@GaryMcleft Club insists it has liberal values.
GBeebies: "Ha! Take that liberals!"
Do you realise just how stupid you look? The journalism career isn't going quite as planned is it?
@KaiAdams374762 No probs. Don't worry, you'll soon find out that Farage and Lowe are just using you to line their own pockets. They couldn't give a shiny shite about you and are pissing themselves silly that you're thinking of voting for them.
@KaiAdams374762 It's used mostly by bad faith actors and poor debaters who are unable to engage with the conversation as they don't really understand the subtleties and instead try to present a different argument that is easier to refute.
@KaiAdams374762 So that's a no, then? It's quite interesting really, it's the idea that a person thinks that they're putting forwards an argument without really addressing the topic at hand, thereby creating an informal fallacy or incorrect argument - a false equivalence if you will.
Reform has today reported the many cases of ‘family voting’ to the Electoral Commission and Greater Manchester Police.
What was witnessed yesterday is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about the integrity of the democratic process in predominantly Muslim areas.
If this is what was happening at polling stations, just imagine the potential for coercion with postal votes.
If action isn’t taken now, then we will ensure it is after the next General Election.
Statement:
“We are losing our country. A dangerous Muslim sectarianism has emerged. We have only one general election left to save Britain. Vote Reform every chance you get. I will continue the fight. I will always fight for you. I will stand at the next general election. Matt.”
@UKLabour Stop attacking the Greens and go after Reform and Restore, you absolute whoppers.
The threat is the fascists, not the environmentalists!
How is this difficult to understand???
@TheModerateCase Because not everything has to be for you. People enjoy performances in languages other than their own all the time. K-pop isn't popular because everyone who listens to it speaks Korean. The Eurovision Song Contest has been broadcast to millions all over Europe for decades.
I have absolutely nothing against Bad Bunny as an artist, I’m just confused as to how a population that overwhelmingly speaks English is supposed to enjoy a performance in a language they don’t understand.
English is the language of America.
The people criticising Jim Ratcliffe for moving to Monaco to be a tax exile, seem to think it's wrong for him to emigrate and thereby deprive Britain from benefiting from his many millions in income tax contributions.
Yet they praise and welcome with open arms the many people who move from other countries to Britain who deprive their home country of both their taxes and their skills.
Why do they think it's ok for, say, a doctor born in India whose training was heavily subsidised by Indian taxpayers to then move to Britain for a better life and higher pay even though millions of people in India can't access a doctor and are in desperate need?
Why does one have a duty of care to their home country for a lifetime, but not the other?
Musk deserves great credit for turning X into a true free speech platform which has helped to uncover the filth around Epstein, Mandelson, the Muslim rape gangs and so much more.
Starmer is now where the Tory PMs were: spending all his time trying to save his own bacon.
His Cabinet spend all their time plotting to replace him.
The biggest losers are the millions of struggling Brits who have not had a remotely competent or loyal government for decades.
@NotFarLeftAtAll No thanks. We've just had 14 years of the tories fucking up the country. I don't quite fancy electing a load of their "greatest hits".
I just knocked on a door in Denton
“I’ve lived here 34 years and nobody has ever knocked on my door”
This is why I’m standing
Labour have taken these areas for granted for decades
Send a message they can’t ignore
Vote Reform UK, Get Starmer Out.
@_GeorgeFinch Reform before the elections: "COUNCILS ARE RAISING YOUR TAX. THIS IS UNCONCIONABLE!"
Reform now: "lol jks, we're putting Council Tax up as well"
Why should the country trust you on anything?
At next week’s budget meeting we’re proposing a 3.89% Council Tax rise.
We’re keeping this year’s rise as low as possible while protecting vital frontline services.
Now it’s over to the opposition:
✅ Back our budget
❌ Or vote for a higher tax rise for Warwickshire residents
