My prayers are with the families of Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, as well as Senator John Hoffman and his wife. I am shocked at the events that unfolded and condemn the violence. While law enforcement continues their search, I pray for peace in our state.

They used her for her vote to ram through their partisan agenda - & now they’ll switch to trying to push her out before June 8 so they can avoid a special election. Suddenly, all their reasons she was entitled to stay and be the deciding vote ~disappeared.~ Absolutely shameless.

HAPPENING NOW: Senate and House DFL leaders say the final transportation finance bill will likely include BOTH an increase in gas tax indexed to inflation AND a delivery fee they now call a “road maintenance fee.” These taxes and fees will hit every Minnesotan.
