🧵 1/16 - Infinity Rising: 2025 Year in Review 2025 was a year of relentless execution. We shipped @InfinityRisingX continuously, kept the game live 24/7, and proved that our community-run node network could handle it. 🎮 We're proud of what the team delivered - and equally honest about the mountain of work ahead in 2026. The Big Moves Epic Games & Steam Listings Getting listed on Epic Games Store and Steam wasn't just a checkbox. It signals we're serious about mainstream adoption. These platforms matter for discovery, credibility, and long-term growth. Two years ago, this felt distant. Now it's real. Full Article here .. read on for the X version.. linkedin.com/pulse/infinity…

The House of the Dead 2, the Terminator, Aliens or Jurassic Park sit in cabinets are always huge fun except they tend to cost a fortune to play. For a similar pure shooting experience one of the gems in that genre you can't beat Operation Wolf !!

I actually played 1943 on one of those connect to TV game consoles last weekend. It was super fun but boy did my hands hurt after an hour of pure button bashing 😆 1942 was a great game and they made it even better when 1943 introduced that amazing 2 player side by side action!

So many here, I played them all. Was a pleasure to meet one of the Rampage devs in Vegas a few years ago. I used to play Robocop at the bus station coming home from school when I was about 12 😆 Alongside Double Dragon, Ghosts n Goblins and Bubble Bobble this is by far my best era for Arcade Games 🕹 and don't get me started on Outrun, Chase HQ and RoadBlasters. I still love sit down arcade racing games

@RobGreig3 Loved Time Crisis 2!!! I couldn’t pick a favourite but top 10 for me were Robocop, NBA Jam, Rampage, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Double Dragon, Streetfighter, Simpsons, Out Run & Mortal Kombat.

Street Fighter II reignighted the arcades as they were declining. The age of the social fighter arcade games would see players queue up waiting to become the "New Challenger", I wasn't any good at it, I did prefer however Tekken and SoulCaliber II and the All Time great Mortal Combat.. my favourite fighting games though were the American Wrestling games, I loved the Ultimate Warrior !!

@RobGreig3 Easy. Family reunion in Las Vegas as a kid. Played Street Fighter 2 in numerous casinos. A stand out experience from childhood... talked to much older people about the game. It was something I could talk to an adult about.

Ace Combat or Thunder Blade? everyone loves to fly helicopters and we have an interesting twist on this coming later this year in @InfinityRisingX For me the best was the Strike series on the SNES and Megadrive 🚁 🎮

2 classics I loved them both, After Burner had such unique cabinets from the stand up joystick to the semi motion simulator to the full motion simulator and the game was 🔥 Gauntlet and especially Gauntlet II ate so many of my coins and was great to play with friends. I often find myself randomly saying "Valkyrie is about to die"
Coy Bacon@ciscole

@RobGreig3 @Cornsullied Arcades as a kid were the best! My top 2 were: - Afterburner: Top Gun had just come out - Gauntlet: Fun playing with more friends

I wasn't very good at Pac-Man but I did love the later side scrollers PacLand and Wonder Boy..
HolTitan@holtitan

@RobGreig3 I lived through this arcade generation as well. I had many games that I enjoyed....running the Pac-Man pattern was fun to see how many keys I could get up to.... but if had to choose, I would say Robotron. Two joysticks, crazy action.

Fun Fact, the new delivery game experience against the clock in @InfinityRisingX was inspired by Crazy Taxi. It will be expanded in the future to deliver food to players apartments and lots more..
🌽Sullied@Cornsullied

@RobGreig3 Actually played that one multiplayer at home. As for favorite arcade game is crazy taxi... I always wondered how the machine stayed good for so long.. people really werent gentle on those things

Playing Time Crisis 2 as a kid, I couldn't walk after hours in the arcade 😂 If you lived through the Golden Age of Arcades, you know the 80s gave us social gaming experiences home consoles just couldn't touch. What was your favourite arcade game? 🕹️
