Strong storm pushing into Columbia county. The worst located near Hudson, tracking towards Claverack with gusty winds, torrential rain, frequent lightning and likely some small hail. Take shelter immediately, this storm has a history of producing damage. news10.com/weather

Severe thunderstorm warning for Columbia county until 5:30pm... Gusts to 60 mph and and quarter size hail are possible as this drifts to the southeast at about 20mph. The worst of the storm is near Coxsackie, heading towards Stockport.

First call snow map! Valley locations little to no accumulations expected. The higher you go the more snow potential you have, especially in the Catskills.

Two part storm on the way, rain & snowmelt will amount to 1-2" of liquid! Those of you where it is cold enough, mainly above 1000 feet will see snow, but the rain beforehand and the snowmelt will come out to be somewhere between 2-2.5"! Very beneficial! Snow map coming soon!
