He lied that he brought up human rights with China. He lied that he had been forceful with Trump. He lied by not telling us we were attacked, lied to his defense minister by not telling him, and then forced his defense minister to lie to us. Mark Carney is a liar.
Ryan Gerritsen🇨🇦🇳🇱@ryangerritsen

So it turns out Carney in this clip stared straight into the camera and lied about discussing human rights issues with China. If he can lie about a topic such as human rights, what else has he been lying about?

Reminder that even during this war, Melika Azizi is on track to be hanged. She was charged with being an "enemy of islam" for protesting in January. She was beaten in the courtroom. The islamic regime is actively executing people even right now, because murder is all they know.

Today, the Islamic Republic hanged multiple Iranian civilians, some of whom were just teenagers. Amnesty International? Silent. The UN? Silent. Human Rights Council? Silent. The Red Cross? Silent.

At midnight, the regime raided 18‑year‑old Melika Azizi’s home and dragged her to Lakan Prison in Rasht. She’s been beaten, cut off from her family, and sentenced to death. In court she looked the judge in the eye and shouted: “You’ve spilled the blood of so many young people, how can I stay silent? It doesn’t matter to me, kill me too.” This is a teenager whose “crime” was courage. We can’t let them execute her in silence. #MelikaAzizi #StopExecutionsInIran

Senior Iranian regime officials were supposed to be barred from Canada. Instead, Canadians are hearing about investigations, inadmissibility findings, and a shockingly weak enforcement rate. The Liberals had years to act. They failed to protect Canadians, and families are paying the price.

BREAKING: We've just received the news that the Carney government is appealing the Emergencies Act decision. Today was their deadline. They filed it at the absolute last moment. And we were ready. We are prepared to defend our victory that found the Emergencies Act was used unlawfully and the regulations were unconstitutional, should the Supreme Court grant leave.

A CBC reporter tried to press Pierre Poilievre on why it took him a year to unveil an auto plan. Poilievre, who is NOT the PM, shot back: "Where is Mark Carney's plan? He's been Prime Minister for a year, and we still have no idea how he intends to address these tariffs."

@CoryBMorgan @LA_Stoffel Islamophobia was a term created by westernized cultural muslims that feared return to barbaric theocratic leadership in muslim states that had evolved to western principles. It was usurped by the very crowd they had fear of. And it turned out to be a rational fear not a “phobia”

Great grandma just confronted Liberal Party whip @MarkGerretsen. She pointed out, among many things, how men are now in women’s changing rooms, and he responded by running away. Just like he ran away from @X.

Let us NEVER forget that during COVID police in Canada stormed a Sunday family dinner and beat up Canadians in front of their elderly parents for the crime of DARING to have dinner after curfew. ... because the government told them to.

Nenshi asks whether people would be spending so much time and energy blaming him if he weren’t the leader of the opposition. No, of course not. But Jyoti Gondek, Dave Bronconnier, and Al Duerr aren't asking to be given even more power, are they? calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

The former mayor of Calgary @nenshi caught lying again. Lets take a look at the facts shall we. No, Danielle Smith (Premier of Alberta) did not impose a full or permanent ban on renewables in the province. Here's what happened based on the facts: In August 2023, her government announced a temporary moratorium (pause) on approvals for new large-scale renewable energy projects (wind and solar over 1 MW). This lasted about seven months and ended on February 29, 2024. The moratorium was presented as a pause to address concerns like grid reliability, agricultural land use, and reclamation rules. When the moratorium ended in February 2024, the government introduced new regulations instead of a blanket ban. These include: An "agriculture first" approach banning renewables on prime irrigable agricultural land. Buffer zones (e.g., minimum 35 km, later expanded in some rules) around "pristine viewscapes" (scenic areas like near the Rockies), protected areas, and parks — effectively prohibiting wind projects in large swaths of western Alberta. Additional restrictions on land use, reclamation requirements, and visual impacts. In short, it was a temporary pause followed by strict limits and restrictions — not a total ban. In a province swimming in natural gas why would we need unreliable wind and solar? I think what Danielle Smith did was 100% correct.
Naheed Nenshi@nenshi

Danielle Smith banned renewables. It chased billions of investment out of the province and cost thousands of jobs. And we’re still paying for it. Danielle Smith is causing an Alberta disadvantage. cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…
